What you can do with guest access in Teams

As a guest in an RCPCH Team, you can participate in a 'chat', join an online meeting, have one-to-one disucssions with other members of the Team, and access files and folders.

Your Guest access in Teams will look similar to the screenshot below. Note that you do not have as many options as a member of staff would have. Your calendar, for example, is missing, which means that if you need to join a meeting, you will need to access the link from your Outlook calendar or email invite.

There are still a lot of things that you can do as a Guest in Teams:

  • Click on the chat icon to speak to members of the Team that you are part of.
  • Access the Teams that you are part of by clicking on Teams
  • From here, you can post new messages, reply to posts, view and upload new files etc.
