Having issues? Clear your cache
If you are having issues with Teams, it may help to clear the 'cache' on your device. Here are the steps for both Windows and Mac computers/devices.
Wndows
- Quit Teams.
- Press the Windows Key + R, and in the pop-up window, type “%appdata%\microsoft\teams” and press Enter. Delete the entire contents of this folder.
- Restart Microsoft Teams.
Mac
- Quit Microsoft Teams.
- Delete contents of the the folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/
- Restart Microsoft Teams.
If you cannot see the library folder, open the Finder and then, while viewing the Go pull-down menu, hold down the Option key to see the Library. It shows up between the Home and Computer menu options. Open the Library folder.
